To podcast you need to:

Steps to create podcast:

Open the Audacity program.
If you want to include music in the background you will need to import it first (any sound files should be in .wav format).
click the Red record button and speak in to the microphone. To stop recording, click the Yellow square button.
Click the File tab at the top of Audacity and SAVE the file.
Click the File tab at the top of Audacity and EXPORT as MP3.
